“Climate Change Progress: 10 Years on from the Paris Agreement”
A Conversation with Laurent Fabius and Dan Esty at Yale School of the Environment
Former French Prime Minister Laurent Fabius, who presided over the historic 2015 Paris Agreement, visited YSE to reflect on a decade of global climate action.
Ten years after COP-21 produced the landmark Paris Climate Agreement, its architect returned to assess progress and chart the path forward. Fabius – who has served as Prime Minister of France, President of the French National Assembly, and President of the French Constitutional Court – joined Dan Esty, Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law & Policy, for a conversation on leadership, international cooperation, and what remains to be done. The event was hosted by the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy and the YSE Policy Analysis Learning Community as part of YSE's celebration of 125 years of leadership, innovation, and impact.
