Japan Study (2023)

Tokyo, Chiba, Ichihara, Fujikawaguchiko, and Oshino, Japan

My first visit to Japan was primarily spent in the Izu Islands, south of Tokyo. On this second visit I traveled with my brother and his fiancé across several points on the mainland.

Mixing both fresh stock and expired stock in my toy camera and my SLR with a failing light meter, my visual record of this trip is delightfully inconsistent and lo-fi. Instead of exposure and color I focused primarily on framing and composition to varying degrees of success.
